Hugo's / Minato

On February 19th , Hugo’s and Izakaya Minato will be teaming up for a kaiseki dinner at Hugo’s, featuring locally sourced Maine ingredients. For those who aren’t familiar, kaiseki is a traditional, nine course Japanese menu designed to highlight meticulous preparation, beautiful plating, and “omotenashi,” or wholehearted hospitality. Our kaiseki menu will follow the traditional framework, while introducing Maine touches.

$75 per person includes the nine course kaiseki dinner, tax and gratuity. Reservations are available between 5:30 and 8:30 PM. Each guest will receive a welcome cocktail on the house, and the Hugo’s bar menu will be available all evening featuring a special sake selection and a flight of Japanese whiskeys.

Celebrate Valentines Day at Hugo’s with an 8-course chef’s tasting menu featuring the best-and-the-brightest from local farmers, fishermen, and foragers. In lieu of an à la carte menu the kitchen will be offering a few special supplements to the tasting. $90 tasting per person; as always, add a wine pairing for $75.

New Year's Eve

Join us for a tasting menu at Hugo’s this New Years Eve. There will be no à la carte offerings, but fear not, there will be plenty of buttermilk biscuits and house-cultured butter! Join us for an 8-course menu to remember featuring the best-and-the-brightest from local farmers, fishermen, and foragers. Trust us with your evening — it’s what we do best.

For those looking for a more lavish experience, the kitchen will be offering caviar and foie gras to supplement the tasting. $90 tasting per person; as always, add a wine pairing for $75.

On Thursday, November 14th Hugo’s and Trillium Brewing Company are teaming up for a one night beer dinner featuring some of Trillium’s more exclusive offerings. The Hugo’s team is currently crafting a 5 course dinner leaning into hearty autumn fare, inspired by the beer. Think local cheeses and wild ales. A true celebration of New England’s food and beer.
