On February 19th , Hugo’s and Izakaya Minato will be teaming up for a kaiseki dinner at Hugo’s, featuring locally sourced Maine ingredients. For those who aren’t familiar, kaiseki is a traditional, nine course Japanese menu designed to highlight meticulous preparation, beautiful plating, and “omotenashi,” or wholehearted hospitality. Our kaiseki menu will follow the traditional framework, while introducing Maine touches.
$75 per person includes the nine course kaiseki dinner, tax and gratuity. Reservations are available between 5:30 and 8:30 PM. Each guest will receive a welcome cocktail on the house, and the Hugo’s bar menu will be available all evening featuring a special sake selection and a flight of Japanese whiskeys.
